Middle finger Monday....

Its Monday again and it is back to buisness as usual here at work. The holiday is over so everyone is back to work so the insanity begins, just one more reason to save for my next vacation!
This weekend was a busiy one and my recap in pictures will have to wait until tommorrow. But I will put in down in words, it will have to hold you over till then.
Saturday:
-Me and a co-worker got a free lunch at Charlie Browns, I put my buisness card in this bowl for a chance to win it. And holly crap I won! ( and yess I know its spelled -Holy- I just thought -holly- sounded funnier!) I had the shrimp fest and he had the prime rib and both came with the salad bar. I love this resturant and we left stuffed on someone else's bill :-)........again, third day this week I ate myself retarded. I sooo need to go on a diet soon! lol. I then picked up my oldest from the ex and headed home.
The wife loves this time of the year and also is very much into putting lights on the house. I am a lazy mofo and all this work goes agaist the grain for me hehe. But the wife loves doing this soo much, so I put on my best game face and did it with little complaining as possible. The only thing I really hate doing is going on the roof to put the clips on the highest pitch of the house. Now mind you I am not affraid of hights, but I do have really bad vertigo. I get dizzy and fell a bit sick to my stomache but it is doesnt stop me from climbing. I love rock climbing, even though it has been a while since I have been, and love roller coasters but I always feel werid when I get a little over the 8 foot mark. But it doesnt stop me from being stoopid or making the little woman happy. I will have pictures of this later so hold on and come back tommorrow!
Sunday:
-I took the oldest and my brother in law to Chuckie Cheese to play some games and win some useless crappy toys. I loved this place as a kid and they seem to really like it too. Now, I love video games; old ones, new ones and pinball games. Does anyone here remeber this one:

Now in comparison to the other games out there this was rather primative, but you have to know your roots! I also love the fact that this place has the " One token for all games" 10 bucks went very far, like 2.5 hours long lol. I even got to play the only pinball game they had there, The Simpson's. I was a little pissed one of the flippers was busted but it did not effect the play too much, I still managed to get the high score muahahahahahah. If I was a rich man I would have a bunch of these things in my house :-)

We put the finishing touchs up on the holiday scene we have at our house and stood back and admired our work. Did the laundry and got my gym back ready for the 'Start Over'. I have to!!!!!!! My wife's holiday party is this friday, another day I will go home hardley breathing from the food over load. If I dont get back to the gym now I will look like Fat Bastard by the end of this winter season!

I love old video games, I still have my atari and over 100 games ;o) my daughter syas it looks funny, but what does she know lol

LOL I have an atari but I got mine form a garage sale and the owner of the games was named "Becky". I know this because her name is written all over the games in black marker lol. I bet she is about my age now and married with kids wondering what ever happened to it haha. I love atari, know your roots! lol

We used to wait until all of the tokens were gone before we left Chuckie Cheese---but like you said, they stretch out pretty far, so we end up "fibbing" a bit and telling the boys"Sorry, there's only one token left!"

I have about a dozen of them in my purse :)

I love the "Search for tokens/tickets other kids left behind" game lol

I love putting up the decorations, (that goes for in the house) I decorated the Christmas tree on Saturday, and as the hubby said, "had him at knife point telling him to put up the outside lights." I just like the feeling I used to get at Christmas, now I'm always worried, what will I get this person and this person... As you saw on my site I have a rather large family! Besides just my brothers and sisters, together Chris and I have 2 moms, one dad, six brothers, and three sisters, five nieces, and two nephews! That's 19 people to shop for besides each other and any close friends! Oy Vey, I may become Jewish to get out of having to shop for everyone!

It takes like 1 million tickets to redeem to get a quality prize. I can't tell ya how many 20 ticket slinkys I used to take home from that place...

: )

Our Chuck E Cheese here in Iowa used to be called Show Biz- back when I went... over 15 years ago...! It had a cool Bear for a mascot-- then they changed to Chuck E Cheese and now they have a nasty scary big rat. :)

Oh God show-biz.....I totaly forgot about them...didnt they have some big black gorilla or something?
Yeah you are better of just buying the damn prize at toysrus than trying to win it with tickets lol.

i've only had squirrel mixed into something else like brunswick stew. it was good. i hear the neck meat is the best. maybe this year i'll try one fried on a stick like teriaki beef at the chinese restaurant.

thanks for stopping by

i saw an old atari 2600 look alike in the best buy catalogue or somewhere for $25. it had 25 "classic" games in it.

HA! I just blogged about this on another site. I used to take the kids to Chuckie Cheese all the time - Mine are a little older now but the wife and I take hers every now and then. Good times man.

honkeie2 said...

Sorry about that D come back soon. Feel better :-*

i take no offense to being called a lush. i accept that reality! i dont know how one could handle that place w/out beer.

DANIELLE GET BETTER!

honkeie2 said...

maybe I should rename you "Lush" hehehehe
And the way I handle that place is by being just like them. Running, screaming, spazing out over small pieces of plastic, vomiting cheap pizza, and climbing on anything that's made of bright colored plastic. And yes I have been asked to leave the ball pit, back when they had them lol. I miss the ball pits!

HAHA! well i guess that's the way you gotta be. i had to leave their once and i never went back again. i didnt get kicked out or anything but i wanted to punch out this stupid mom who's kid was whizzing balls at my head. she got all over my ass cuz i gave him a "stop that" look. i thought it best we leave.

oh yeah...btw...one of the subjects that was brought up in your comments before thanksgiving...i gave it a shot. TOTALLY OVERATED. never again. dont know if i'll post about it or not....probably will...but it'll be a while.

I have yet to get into anything with some of the ghetto rats that hang around the one I go to, but that is only because I go realllll early and avoid them all toghter. If their kids behavior is any reflection on them, I think I should have had to pay addmition to watch them behind glass.

please inlighten me to what this was.......I am alll ears!
