I took the past two days off just to have off. Sometimes I can get away with things at work that require you to be the boss. Other than that being the boss sucks! But I came back to work the forth of July because....I wanted the Holdiay pay....DUH!
But on Tuesday we took the children out to Philly to see the Benjamin Franklin museum. It has been 20 years since I have been there.....wait did I just say 20 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shoot me now I am not old I AM NOT OLD! I still remeber my first trip, I was 11 and it was a field trip. I remeber the heart you got to walk around in, but I remeber it smelling like pee for some reason and this time around it did not.

Here we have Cheese with his move of choice for the long trip. If you have kids and you like to take road trips a dvd player is a must in the car. I am not sure how my parents did it with us, but we managed.
I had a walkman and my gameboy. You know the yellow Sony walkman that was the size of a softball, with the sponge head phones and the gameboy that had a green and black screen. Now I have a PSP that can be played in the dark, hold music, video, connect to the internet and play arcaed quality games; and an Ipod that is the size of a quater that hold up to 500 songs with these awesome ear buds that block out most of the outside world noise. How things have changed!

And here we have have the older one all excited about dad putting in the portable dvd player. We make sure to never leave it in the car, crack heads can smell easily removable items for cash in parked cars.

Our two future punk-rock stars and Alan all set for the trip.

I have more pictures but they are in the wife's camera which is at home. I will have to upload them for part II of our trip to Philly.
But to let you know, we all had fun, we had a Philly cheese steak in Philly, ran amuch in the museum and had to come home to calm the nerves the only way a grown man knows how to:

RedBull and Jagger......it helped bring my sanity back from the edge. Notice the wife hid all the big knives!

More to come......
