OMFG

I felt rather ill today when I saw what my local gas station was charging for gas. It was 2.49 the last time I filled up and that was only 2 days ago. It jumped fiddy-centz !!!! OMFG, and if you have no clue what that means I will help the chat room illiterate---Oh My Fucking God! The momment I saw this price rape about 6 little brown men peddled past me on their commute to work. And then it hit me, I think it is time to re-live my youth and bring out my bike as well.
Now I am not a democrate or a republican because it is pointless to choice between on pile of shit to another. Nothing agaist ppl who are are one side or the other but no matter who is the president we all get screwed. The little ppl that make up the real world never seem to get those breaks the 1% of the population seems to get. I am sure the rich never notice things like rising prices and the politicians we elected just vote themselves raises then cry cost of living on the rise. Well, duh you keep passing new taxes and drives prices out the roof. At one time it was no taxation without representaion but now we have too much taxes and to many reps. I wish I could vote myself a raise every 2-3 years! The Mc-minimun wage has not been gone up in a while and every financial person that has done a study on it says on the average it has to be at least 14 dollars an hour just to be ok. But only the little people who pay taxes know this hard fact.
But what will be interesting to see will be the demise of the urban monstrosity we have learned to hate : The SUV. Its is the beast that gets 9 miles to the gallon and the MTV rappers and rockers have told us to buy and pimp out(subliminaly of course). I live near da ghetto and see all these want to be Piddies and Fat Joe's in there tricked out beast of gas downers. They think dem rims were prices what till week 3 at 3 bucks a gallon and I would put my money on two words " Trade In".
I understand that alot of our oil comes from the gulf and due to the problems with the hurricans that the oil is now harder to get. But everytime the price of oil goes up its something new. Last time they said was that we have the oil but not enough refineries and now not enough oil because of the hurricane. Exxon has already made a million in profits this year and the way it looks they are on full throttle to make more before the year is up. Does anyone else feel that someone with close ties to the oil buisness is pulling strings and our chain all at the same time?
--But enough of my bitching! Either you get on the boat or you get out and go find Nemo. My biggest peeve right now is that the summer is over , noooooooooooo she is too young to die!! She was only just getting her start and here comes Fall. Damn dirty whore with her cooler weather and colorfull leaves. Tell her to go pimp her wares somewhere else, I am not done with summer. Hello nippy wind, early sun down, and snow ; goodbye running half naked outside, hanging in the pool and dreams of bikini clad bimbos at the Jersey shore. Mind you they are only dreams now, I dont go to these beachs here anymore. They are dirty, over crowded, you have to pay to park and pay to go on the beach. And besides most of the ppl you see in the bikinis are not the people (or sex) you dream of anyway.

Round these parts, gas is anywhere from the "bargain" price of $3.09 to $3.21 for REGULAR gas. Not even premium. It's unbelievable. And of course my husband and I work 45 minutes from home. And with a baby, we have a minivan. That's always fun to fill up. We were thinking about trading in the Altima for an SUV. Now we're thinking of trading them both in for a 2-door Spec. (remember that McDonald's commercial?)
